The feast of Our Lady, popularly known as Santa Marija, is celebrated in parishes around Malta and Gozo on 15 August, a public holiday. Between 2001 and 2005 D Illumination used traditional Maltese festive lighting for the façade of the Gozo Cathedral in Victoria. It currently rents traditional festoons, floodlighting and other street decorations, electricity cables and temporary meters, and assists the band club in installing and dismantling their own decorations.
